Lorna Wright and Alison Winder are swimming outdoors 60 times between December 2021 and the end of April 2022 to raise funds for The Abingdon Bridge.
Lorna, who teaches in the Oxford Hospital School said: “We have never done anything like this before and it felt really daunting when we first started. It has been a real challenge to get in the water at times, especially when the wind is blowing and there is ice at the edges or thick fog!”
Alison, who works in pastoral support at Thameside Primary School, said: “We wanted to help The Abingdon Bridge with the amazing work they do for young people.”
