Our Youth Ambassadors

Our Youth Ambassadors are young people that the Abingdon Bridge have supported in the past. They have all come far on their own journeys and want to help other young people progress theirs.

They represent young people’s voices and opinions and help steer our organisation.

Would you like to become a Youth Ambassador?

Youth Ambassadors have three key roles, which are to:

  1. Promote emotional health and challenge stigma.

  2. Advise us as an emotional health organisation on what young people’s needs are.

  3. Motivate and inspire other young people to have more understanding of their emotional health through a wide range of settings within their local communities, including schools, clubs, and other community organisations.

Hi my name is Ben, and I wanted to be a part of the TAB Youth Ambassador team because I have experienced and still am experiencing a lot of difficulties and want to make sure everyone is heard and has a voice. A fact about me is I have moved around a lot.

Hi my name is Sienna, I wanted to be a part of the Youth Ambassador programme because I want to help other young people who, like me, are going through something tough and need someone to be there for them.

I am keen to represent young people in the community. Some facts about me are I used to play football and my favourite place is Tenerife.

Hi I'm Amber, I am a Senior Youth Ambassador. I became a Youth Ambassador to give back. TAB really believe in young people, I have been attending TAB programmes for over 2 years now, they truly made me feel cared for and respected as a young person. It is so important that young people have a person or place that makes them feel accepted and safe. TAB has been that for me, and I want to do that now for others, I LOVE being a part of the charity.

Hi I'm Erin. I love being a part of TAB and I want to create spaces where young people feel heard, and somewhere they can laugh and cry and confide in whilst being heard and seen. I love good music and I also have an incredible little sister who has just beaten her battle with blood cancer. I love her very much.
