Volunteer

It’s not just about money

If you have skills, time, or expertise you think TAB could benefit from — we’d love to hear from you. From volunteering and creative support to professional guidance, your input could make a big difference. You could help us by:

  • Helping as a volunteer receptionist or administrator.

  • Supporting young people with job applications.

  • Encouraging young people to adopt healthy lifestyles.

  • Becoming a trustee.

If you are interested in volunteering for TAB please contact us for further information (please note that all volunteers need to be DBS checked).

Receptionists

Volunteer receptionists are valued members of our team who support the smooth running of our counselling sessions. They are welcoming and trustworthy people who understand about the need for confidentiality, enjoy being part of a team and know that they make a difference. All our receptionists must be over the age of 25.

The job involves:

  • Answering the entry phone to admit clients.

  • Showing clients to the waiting room.

  • Liaising with counsellors.

  • Showing clients out.

  • Being on hand for counsellors if needed.
