About us

The Abingdon Bridge (TAB) is a youth mental health and wellbeing charity dedicated to supporting young people aged 13 to 25 across the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire.

At our core is a belief that every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered. We provide free, confidential, and relationship-based support, including 1-to-1 counselling, mentoring, group programmes, outreach, and youth leadership opportunities. Our services are shaped by lived experience, grounded in trust, and delivered by a passionate team of professionals who understand the pressures young people face today. From anxiety and low self-esteem to self-harm and social isolation, we meet young people where they are—with early, inclusive support that builds resilience and community connection.

Each year, we work with hundreds of young people through over 4,000 sessions, while our Youth Ambassador programme empowers young leaders to shape services, support peers, and strengthen local communities. At TAB, we don’t offer quick fixes, we build lasting relationships that spark real change and help young people move forward with confidence, purpose, and hope.
