Hello, my name is Fiona and I am a Senior Counsellor with The Abingdon Bridge. I am trained in various modalities including Person-centred, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and I am an accredited member of the BACP.
I have experience of working with young people in secondary schools and in private practice. I have supported adults and young people with such a diverse range of issues, there are too many to mention! My aim is to create a safe and collaborative space for young people to explore what is difficult for them, without fear of judgement.
I was drawn to working for TAB because of the challenges I faced as a young person and wanting to support others to navigate the complexities of adolescence and transitioning to adulthood. I feel extremely fortunate to be part of the wonderful team at TAB.
I have a passion for fitness and the benefits of exercise in supporting mental health so this year I qualified as a Personal Trainer. I own an outdoor fitness company and in my spare time can usually be found in nature either walking, running or mountain biking!
